The Lunda-ndembu people speak and understand each other using their lunda-ndembu language. Their tribe is Lunda-Ndembu. The Lunda-ndembu people are distict in cultural matters and linguistically. The Lunda-ndembu people are distict in cultural matters and linguistically.
They are not the Lunda of mwanta yanvu who have a different tribe and language (RUUND or URUWUND) of kapanga area of katanga province of DR Congo.
The Lunda-ndembu people now live in west central Africa in the country of the Congo and in southern Africa in the countries of Angola, Namibia and Zambia.
The origin of the Lunda-ndembu people is traced from time immemorial through oral history. The written history of the Lunda-ndembu people is recorded by the writing white travellers and the Missionaries and adventurists who sojourned into Africa.
From Africa oral history the migration of the Lunda-ndembu people was from Once Upon a Time. Orally the Lunda Ndembu people were informed that their ancestors originated from Cameroon in western central Africa. They then migrated into Sudan (the bridge country now between the mid East and Africa). from Sudan, the ancestors of the Lunda-ndembu people moved and eventually settled in DR Congo. That was not the end of the migration of our ancestors from the DR Congo, some of our ancestors migrated to Angola while others migrated into Zambia. And some eventually settled in Namibia. During the migration some of the Lunda-ndembu people who settled along Ndembu River started calling themselves ndembu people in transit DR Congo to Angola and Zambia.
Mwanta Ishindi Mweni Kazekeli/Lukanu, the Royal Bracelet, is the authentic leader of the Lunda-ndembu people, not Mwanta Wawa Ruund Iyaav . Iyaav was actually a step-nephew of Mwanta Ishindi and his four brothers, now chiefs: Musoka-Ntanda, Kazembi-Mutanda, and Kanong’esha.
The Lunda-ndembu lubanza ceremony has been celebrated since time in immemorial. The written record of this ceremony was by Dr David Livingstone the missionary doctor when he travelled to the Lufwinji Palace of similar ceremonies in Angola, DR Congo and Zambia under various Lunda-ndewmbu Chiefs.
In Zambia the ceremonies I held on different dates during the July October period in the following chief doms: ishindi of Zambezi district, sailunga of mwinilunga district, kanongesha of mwinilunga and ikelengi district, in northwestern province: and kazembe in mwansabombwe district of Luapula province.
The lunda-ndembu people have returned their tribe and the language to date and their chiefs are politically independent. The lunda-ndembu Chiefs and people have also retained their social system.
The lunda-ndembu people of the chiefdoms of ishindi, kanongesha, museli and sailunga of Zambia and in Angola of the chief domes of mukandankunda chinuka and others and in Namibia under the chiefdoms of kasondi and chikudd and in the DR Congo under the chief domes of musokantanda chifwanakeni, kazembi mutanda, saluseki, chisanama and others should not be confused.

This significant event is celebrated in Zambezi town, North-Western Province, under Mwanta Ishindi’s leadership, with the international royal headquarters at Mukanda-Nkunda Royal Village . The ceremony honors the Lunda-ndembu people’s migration from Nkalanyi, DRC, and their rich cultural heritage.
Historical writers mistakenly linked Mwanta Wawa Ruund Iyaav to the Lunda-ndembu, obscuring the distinct culture, language, ancestry, and history of the Lunda-ndembu people . Iyaav’s lunda-Luba claims were misguided, exploiting similar names to colonize Lunda-ndembu sovereignty instead mwata Iyaav’s true kingdom or empire was ruund- luba because ruund is his matriarch kamong rwaz tribe while luba is his patriarchy tshibind irung tribe .
*No Connection Between Lunda-ndembu and Ruund-Luba *
Tshibind Irung, Iyaav’s biological father, was a Ruund-Luba hunter from the Luba Kingdom of Kasongo Wanyembo, under Ruler Kongolo Mwamba . Bemba , bwile, ushi, nsenga, senga, unga, bisa, sanga-kaonde, ng’umbo and tabwa never worshipped Kongolo Mwamba or recognized Iyaav’s lineage but why Lunda-ndembu have continued with this low esteems mentality or slave-master mentality by worshipping mwanta Wawa ruund-lunda or ruund-luba mwanta iyaav? . Lunda-ndembo people never originated from mwanta iyaav other God Almighty Jehovah who created the lunda-ndembu community across the borders.
The Lunda-ndembu cultural ceremony unites the community across borders, honoring their shared history and heritage Mwanta Ishindi’s legacy continues as the true and real Ifota Nyiiteng’u, celebrated by future generations in DRC, Angola, and Zambia.🇨🇩🇿🇲🇦🇴
The Lundandembu people after migration eventually settled in their lands as follows:
